Fahrenheit451 Comparison to Phil Collins

Since Montag is running from his dilemma of killing Beatty, and hiding books, i figure a comparison of some lyrics from a song that would relate to Montag's problem. The song i chose was Phil Collins- In the Air Tonight. In the song, Phil says "I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord"..... it reminds me of the moment when Montag was realizing what Mildred had done to Montag, telling Beatty he had books. That moment was as if Montag can feel the tension in the air from Mildred and Beatty. Along with Beatty, Beatty has had a death wish for quite some time. And it finally happened, and it the lyrics which Phil says "I've been waiting for this moment, all my life"... (well maybe not all of his life) but in Beatty's life, he's been waiting for his death for a part of his life. In addition, Phil says in his song "So you can wipe off the grin, i know where you've been, its all been a pack of lies".....The small portion of the song gives me a thought of how Montag and Beatty were with each other at Montags house. And Montag had enough of what Beatty was saying about books, so he torched him. The comparison of Phil Collins - In the Air Tonight to F451 is almost as if the song was meant to be for the book. Yet, the song is talking divorce, but in bits and parts of the song, you can find a comparison to Fahrenheit 451.
