Life is Strange

Right now i am very speechless at this moment from the weekend, to now. From the title, some of you may be thinking "what is Life Is Strange? Are you talking about life"? Well, it's a video game i have been playing for a couple of weeks now. Yes, it is strange of me to talk about a game that i have been playing. Recently, i have finished the game and i am just blown away on how a game can impact me in my life. The story in the game is very relatable  to me, and possibly to other people who may have played this game. And the story presented to me, hit me on a personal level, and i have never in my whole life felt this way about a games story. The story follows a high school girl named Max Caulfield. She just moved from Seattle to a town named Arcadia Bay (the town looks like city of Oregon) and she is an outcast, a soft spoken, shy person who loves photography. She soon figures out that she has the ability to rewind time, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect. And with the butterfly effect, comes with great consequences. All of us especially have felt a moment in our lives to wish we could go back in time to fix things. And this game delivers it.

It gives you the imagination of what it would be like if you had the ability to rewind time. After I have finished game last Saturday,  I felt joy, and a little bit of emptiness because I have never had a connection between a character like this before. This game is not like your ordinary game, go to this place, talk to people, find something, etc. This games involves choices that will effect your story in the process of playing. In every situation I had to choose, I would be hesitatent to make a choice, because I would be thinking of the outcome and the possibilities this decision could make. I would actually take 3 to 4 minutes contemplating in my thoughts of what would be the right choice to make. This game changed my perspective in life, and to my choices I make. And I remember how in class we talked about is music art/ literature . And I explained that it is on how the artist writes, rhymes his or her lyrics. And now, I found a new art/ literature. Specific games are literature and an art. If a game really strucks you like this game made me feel, then this is truly an art forms. I seriously recommend this game, even if some of you may not like games, or find them "not enjoyable" trust me, this game you will love, and relate to in many levels.

It's avaliable on a
the platforms listed: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC (go to the website Steam (it's a website other buy games. It's a safe website), or a local store who has the game. For example:Walmart, Gamestop, Target, or possibly Best Buy), Playstation 4, Playstation 3.

Coming across Magic (again)

Thank you Dr. Preston for reminding me about my magic involvement. I finally had the opportunity   to see some David Blaine tricks. (because i have been busy for a few weeks) But now, i have some time to show some tricks. The tricks he does, i still don't know how he does them. Just twoof the tricks he proposed i know how he did them. Now, this was his comeback performance from his old special that was 5 years ago. And now, with this performance, he is promoting his new special.  Enjoy!

The Great Gatsby Question

I have a question about Mr. Gatsby......Why would he lie to Nick that he was rich and inherited his money from being so wealthy? I'm contemplating that he wants to let go of his past. I'm guessing, for him to truly becoming Gatsby he has to let go of his past, and become a new person. But i guess its for the better good i suppose. Well, for his sake.

Accepting Defeat

Anytime anyone loses, its not a pleasant thing to have. We often feel emotional, feeling the other opponents happiness of winning. But, feeling all the anger, sadness, and misunderstandings  are helping you analyze, reflect on what you did. So you don't have to repeat the process again. Helps you build strategies  to make. There is a clip ill put down below of how defeat can be very emotional. But remember, it will help you in the long run.

The Great Gatsby Remix Chapter 3

When Nick and Miss Baker went to Gastby's house. And the moment where Nick did not know he was talking to Gastby. Gave me a recollection of how Nick described Gastby's smile. Where we would only see a smile like that 3 to 4 times in our life.  And it gave me a thought that i have only seen a smile like that only twice in my life. (the way nick describes it) It made me come to realize Nick is right on what he says. It gives the reader a thought if anyone has gotten a smile like that from Gastby to Nick.
