anybody can remix anything, just takes techniques
the metaphor of a light bulb is always used when someone has an insight
3 basic elements of creativity: Domain Knowledge, Copying, Transformation
Stars Wars- almost like a updated version of another movie
(some of the movie angles are similar to other movies)
Original ideas are considered PROPERTY
(it really isn't)
If, you copy someones ideas, it is considered stolen property
If someone steals an idea, the person who stole it can improve on the original creators idea
Most remixes are a higher value than the orginal content
taking something that exist is basically making something into a product
