Nick her is the narrator in this story, gives his recollections in his experience with Gastby It's almost like the book .  "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" where Benjamin is recollecting his experience with is elder hood, to mid twenties,  and towards an infant.  And both books have similarities of meeting a girl. Daisy and Gastby, and Benjamin and Daisy. Weird coincidence those books have.

Remix Project: 3 Card Monte

All around the world, there are various games that can be played. Such as in Las Vegas, their are many games that be played all around. For example: Poker, Black Jack, Texas Holdem, etc. Those are the most common card games played in Las Vegas. Not only in Las Vegas, but internationally as well. But their is one game that is also well known, but not in Casinos. The game is called Three Card Monte. It's not necessarily a "fair game" to play. The Areas that play this game is usually Las Vegas or New York. Fortunately not played in Casinos, but in Subway Stations, and on the streets.

  And if anyone ever encounters this game, NEVER play it. This game is a scam game to lose people's money, and to cheat the player. The set up is usually a man or woman behind a cardboard box, with 3 bent cards.

Those are the cards that are shown to the player. 4 of clubs, Ace of diamonds , and the 4 of clubs. The handler makes this game look entertaining, and easy. All the player needs to do is follow the red card.

Now this is where remixing comes into play. Remixing is an original idea, but re-edited. Anybody can remix, just take technique, and time. Remixing has 3 concepts; Domain Knowledge, copying, and Transformation. And this is where 3 Card monte is transformed.  This is the common way to play this game, and then their is the erratic way. It involves the same 3 cards, but just bent. The same rules apply, follow the middle card.

   Magic is all about creativity, and improving on ideas of others. Such as David Blaine, he digs up old tricks preformed a long time ago, and adds a new and crazy way. Such as the bullet catch he preformed, he wanted to improve that trick, and actually catch a bullet with his mouth. David Blaine is a great example of remixing ideas. That's why his performances are a higher value in intrest. Remixing doesn't always have to be copying people, but actually improving an original idea to make things much more unique.
